Vision, Mission and Objectives
Vision
To modernise Kuala Belait and Seria town in line to cleanliness and beautification
consequently become an example town in all aspects on national level.
Mission
"To upgrade and improve the standard and quality of living for the country's
subject and residents, especially town citizens, and to create positive atmosphere
towards development in the economic sector within the town centre".
Objectives
- Maintaining and upgrading Kuala Belait's function as the centre for Government
administration in Belait District.
- To help encourage and co-ordinate carrying out the National Development Plan.
- To advance as well as to upgrade the economy and to make Kuala Belait and Seria
function as a commercial centre in the Belait District.
- To maintain and to encourage a beautiful environment within the town areas.
- To maintain and upgrade towards a better, clean and healthy environment.
- To optimise Government's budget and benefit from it, at the same time reduce
on Government's burden on preparation and maintaining of facilities and services.
- To increase government's revenue.
- Developing strategic and prime areas / lands within the town centre.
- To develop / establish competent administration.
- To prepare, maintain and improve the infrastructure facilities (including landscape,
playground / recreation) for the benefit of inhabitant and the country especially
within the town centre.
