Strategies and Procedures
- In the department's effort to meet the above mission and objectives, the department
would carry out its function with assurance to practices, strategies and procedures
listed below :-
- The action guidelines are :-
- Municipal Board Act Chapter 57;
- Miscellaneous License Act Chapter 127;
- Municipal Board Enactment (by Laws);
- Minor Offences Act;
- Traffic Laws 1954, (Municipal Board Kuala Belait and Seria) Traffic Rules Car
Park 1979, Renewal 1990;
- Emergency (Public Entertainment) Order 1997;
- Dog License Act.
- To practice law enforcement procedures.
- To enhance and tidy-up the quality of administration and management of the department
including methods of obtaining funds.
- To know and practice the methods used within the administration and management
computer system.
- To further enhance privatisation / contracting-out procedures on certain government
department's responsible.
- To upgrade teamwork within other Government departments in the missing Municipal's
effort in reclining public debts, such as payment of car parking tickets, house /
building taxes and government building rental fees.
- To carry-out development prospects on public facilities / amenities and undergo
specailised projects as joint-venture with private companies.
- To revise and update on which ever law, acts or procedures that is less practical
or not congruent to the current needs / issues.
